Worth knowing
The front desk staff will request your passport and tourist card. This is mandatory as the hotel needs to take a copy of both documents to provide the VAT exemption for foreign tourists. Failure to provide this means you must pay the 19% VAT. They might also request your credit card as a guarantee for expenses not covered in your reservation.
