Accommodation is mainly in two-person canvas dome tents with camping mattresses. Depending on the route, stays combine campsites, wild camps and hotels in towns. Facilities can be very basic; wild camps have none. Occasional optional room upgrades (USD 40–100) may be available; dorms may be shared.
