We stay in a mix of simply furnished hotels, hostels, and private rooms in local households chosen for location, character and cleanliness. All accommodation is multi-share (typically 4-6) with shared bathrooms, and occasional dorm rooms. Rooming requests aren’t accepted in hostels. Air conditioning is uncommon.
