Camp under African skies on a 30-day overland journey from Cape Town to Johannesburg through Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa, combining desert dunes, the Okavango Delta and epic wildlife encounters. Accommodation is primarily in two-person canvas dome tents with camping mattresses. Depending on the route, stays mix campsites, wild camps and hotels in towns. Upgrades to rooms (about USD 40–100 per twin, pay locally, cannot pre-book) may be available. Facilities are often basic; wild camps have none.
