Accommodation is primarily in two-person canvas dome tents with camping mattresses. Depending on the route, stays mix campsites, wild camps and hotels in towns. Upgrades to rooms (about USD 40–100 per twin, pay locally, cannot pre-book) may be available. Facilities are often basic; wild camps have none.
