Stay mainly in two-person canvas dome tents with supplied mattresses. Depending on the route, nights are in campsites, wild camps, or hotels in towns and cities. Campsite facilities are basic and wild camps have none. Occasional dorms may be used. Local upgrades to rooms cost USD 40–100.
