Accommodation is predominantly camping (approximately 90%) with about 10% in simple hostels/hotels. There are four nights of accommodation on Zanzibar, camping equipment is provided, and a backpackers hostel is used in Cape Town. Upgrades may be available locally where rooms exist, and some nights are spent camping en route.
