We stay in hotels in Ulaanbaatar and Arvaikheer, and traditional Mongolian ger camps elsewhere. Gers are airy, usually with a central stove; bathrooms are shared with hot water that can be erratic. Many camps offer 24-hour electricity or limited generator charging. Festival gers sleep four; others sleep two.
