Been on 5 holidays with this company they have generally been good but the prices have risen considerably and i feel do not provide true value for money. In my opinion all the excursions and meals should be included in the total cost as they not worth the extra cost. Also they are very dismissive of any complaints once you have paid for the holiday they are not interested. I think i will try another company next time

Great holidays for singles. I've been on 4 holidays with them. Only issue is the hotel rooms. They generally use 3* hotels and I've booked at the same time and price as my friends but the difference in rooms is unbelievable. I've been lucky, but I've heard horror stories from friends of rooms like a dungeon with one small high window whilst I've had a fabulous sea view.

Fabulous holiday with Just You - well organised, excellent accommodation and our tour leader absolutely made the trip! Would highly recommend.

I went on a spirit of an India trip with Amritsar add on. It looks good in the brochure, but things aren’t always as they seem. If like me you like a toilet break every two hours (discussed with the company in depth in advance) or have a hidden disability. then this holiday is not for you - use a different holiday company! Their planned toilet stops are every 3.5 hours, so ladies bring your pads and gents be prepared for “natural stops” while all the passengers watch you out the window or bring a bottle and a blanket as a screen. The Taj Mahal in Agra was good, along with the two trips to the Ganges river and the Golden Temple at Amritsar too. Rarely are you in the same spot for more than one night and a 6 hour daily coach or train journey became the norm. It was a shame that there was not an opportunity to enjoy the hotels that we’d obviously paid a lot of money for. If you’re looking for tigers in the game park, don’t get your hopes up. 99% unlikely. It is also a disappointment that there is little opportunity to explore the areas in the major cities that we’d traveled too If you are lucky enough to find some companionship from the opposite sex and wish to be bring them “home” this is frowned upon by the company - even if you have paid extra due double occupancy as required by the hotel I received a letter on holiday basically saying that the two hourly toilet stops required (and discussed in advance) due to diabetes was a disruption to the schedule. That photos sent to me by a girlfriend were “illicit”. Photo uploaded - make your own mind up” Also that managing to get lucky a couple of times and bringing them back to the hotel was an issue - very strange due a so called singles holiday

Have taken about 15 tours with JY, mainly long haul, and found the experience exhilarating. Apart from the company's professionalism and extensive and varied tour options, I have made so many friends for life. Looking forward to resuming my travels in 2022.

A shame that there are a lot of negative reviews regarding Just You as I recently went on their tour of Pompeii and the Amalfi Coast... it was a fantastic trip and I was part of a lovely group of people. The tour guide (Michela) was fantastic and the staff members in the hotel in Pompeii were really friendly and accommodating. As I have certain dietary requirements, the staff in the hotel went to every length to accommodate these needs... and whereas no hotel is ever perfect, I had a quiet and comfortable room and it was more than adequate for my needs. The additional tours were fantastic and the tours of the Pompeii ruins, Herculaneum, Capri, Ravello and Amalfi Coast were well planned. The tour guides were really knowledgeable about the area and it really took my breath away. I didn't like Naples very much but the museum and its exhibitions were really worth the short visit there. Four of the guest flew in on earlier flights from different parts of the UK and rather than keep us waiting at the airport, a separate transfer was organised to get us to the hotel in good time for some rest. The other guests on the tour were really friendly and no one felt left out at any point... and the group size (17 people) was perfect. A lot of the guests had already been on previous holidays with Just You and had really good things to say... so, having been skeptical due to the negative reviews I read before I went on the holiday, I wanted to write a positive review as I had a lovely time on this holiday... to the point that I will definitely book another holiday with Just You in the future.

My short trip to Versailles & Monet’s garden with ‘just you’ was excellent. Tessa our guide gave 101%. Beautiful hotel and surroundings. A very friendly bunch of people and a mix of all ages. Will definitely be going with them again.

Possibly talking about wrong location . But definitely referring to Just You. I wouldn't use this company again . I have previously had a couple of great holidays with I believe their parent company Travelshpere . Albeit 20 years ago. 1 safari , 1 trip to Hong Kong , Bangkok. Very disappointed with the trip I had 9th to 16th June 2025 organised by "Just You " to Madeira. Which with the right guidance . Is a lovely holiday destination

Just returned from St Lucia. Hotel dreadfully shabby. Breakfasts very limited with very little fresh fruit. Our hotel was a 20 minute walk in 29C or a free bus on the hour to the beach and sister hotel. Location good for nearby local shopping and restaurants. The sunset cruise was brilliant as was the whale watching, but surf and safari trip was a disaster. We travelled in two open topped trucks with a two and a half hour drive to the surfing destination. During the trip smoke started from the gear box and we had to abandon the vehicle until the situation was rectified, which, to their credit, was sorted very quickly. Unfortunately the sea was too rough for the boat so we had to return back in the trucks. Extremely uncomfortable on side bench seats, hanging on in the rain. So, all in all we don’t over 6 hours on the trucks - not good. The tour guide left before the 5 day extension period without a handover to the local tour operators. No Information was given except by the hotel. I had already booked to go the Athens with Just You in May, now I wish I hadn’t.

Apologies in advance to the business as my holiday was the Eastern Wonders tour in Canada in June 2023 but some things happened shortly after which I had to focus on and then I kept forgetting to write a review. This was hands down the best holiday I’ve ever had. My coeliac disease was no issue whatsoever and the tour guide ‘Johanna’ is an absolute credit to Just You. She along with all of the other tour guides in the city stops were knowledgeable and great fun. The only day I felt wasn’t necessary for that time of year was Mont-Tremblant and the Holiday Inn there wasn’t the best but every other hotel was wonderful. Everyday was well-balanced with little tours to see the gorgeous sights in each location whilst still leaving us with plenty of time for our own exploration. The coach driver ‘Dave’ was also a really lovely chap. We always felt very safe with him behind the wheel and, should Just You offer this tour again someday, I would definitely recommend it. I will be using this company again and I can’t wait. I’d also like to thank the team at Just You over the phone and the representative at Heathrow who helped me as I’m on the autism spectrum and can get overwhelmed. Lovely company and very well priced in my opinion. With everything we did it would have cost around double if you’d made this trip independently.

Booked the French & Italian Riviera. Too much travelling on the coach. Most journeys to places were around 2 hours or more. No toilet facilities unless you go into a cafe to buy something. The group were lovely but mostly retired and older. Didn’t have much in common. The hotel was comfortable and clean. Vegetarians had mainly different types of cooked eggs for dinner. But plenty of food. However the hotel Toscana in Alessio does cater for families with children so noisy at night for the last few days of the holiday. Paid a lot of money for this holiday. Did not meet my expectations as per brochure.

I went for my first holiday alone to Lake Garda in Italy with JustYou in September 2023. I hadn't found anything but good reviews when I researched before booking. The cost seemed high, but I thought that was because we would be well looked after. One of my main reasons for booking this holiday was because the information said we would see Roman sites on Sirmione. The first surprise was that the Tour Director was a last minute replacement. He had no on the ground knowledge and did not speak Italian. The coach from the airport did not have seat belts that worked. The hotel was not as expected. It was supposed to have a spa but had only a sauna - which required 45 minutes notice - and a small and uninviting outdoor swimming pool. However, that was minor compared with the food. We had 4 meals in the hotel. The first meal was a total shock to me as it was not acceptable by any reasonable standards - and neither was it in accordance with the JustYou information. The starter was a small heap of spaghetti flavoured with oil infused with garlic and chilli. After that we were served a one-egg omelette with some spinach as a filling - plus one tablespoon of a red pepper/mushroom etc mix. Dessert was a tiny lemon sorbet with probably raspberry coulis underneath. Minimal protein and no vegetables worth mentioning. It became fascinating to see what would be served, even after the many complaints raised about the food on the second night (pizza, pizza and more pizza - no vegetables and just cheese, no meat or fish). The final night was the nadir for me - saffron risotto made with long grain rice and no saffron, followed by thin pieces of pork in oil infused with lemon - and just 5 chunky chips. Halfway through eating this my pok turned out to be raw. As for the trips, we visited Sirmione but were told there was no time to see the Roman ruins. Neither was there time to see inside the Scaliger Castle. That was the pattern of the guided days - coach journeys followed by local guides talking at length about things and no time to see inside anything. Plus, entrance to anything was an extra cost. The group was great and the 2 days when we did our own thing turned out very very well - but I was paying for a guided holiday. The holiday was not value for money - and the food was simply not of a reasonable standard. Complaints at the time did nothing to improve matters. I complained in detail to JustYou after the holiday. They offered me £100 as a goodwill gesture - subject to a non disclosure agreement! I took this to be a standard response. I felt they had not considered specific issues, personal to me, at all. I refused the offer and referred the matter to ABTA. Their response to ABTA was to say that it would be unfair to other complainants on the same holiday to increase the offer. It seems that JustYou has been a good company for solo holidays in the past. Most recently there are simply too many complaints like mine - and especially about poor food. If this holiday had gone well I had planned to go to Japan with them in 2025. They have lost that business and other potential clients' business - and not because of what went wrong on my holiday. Mistakes happen, it's how they are dealt with that matters.

Don't go to the Mercure Hotel in Brighton for a Christmas holiday. Dingy rooms, small tables so you are encouraged to sit on your own when you have expected to be able to chat. But this is nothing compared to the Christmas lunch. Reconstituted white meat that could have been anything, no roasties, no stuffing, no cranberry sauce, you couldn't cut the sprouts because the knife wasn't sharp enough. I had pre ordered prawn cocktail as my starter but on the day when we all turned up together, there was no prawn cocktail for me they had run out, so all I had was soup. No dancing, no music. The carpets were stained and it was a very sorry affair. I paid £1348 for 4 nights of this very shabby standard. Sorry Just You, butbit is the last holiday I will have with you. This year, whether I go to Aldi or Waitrose, I will buy the whole shebang and cook it myself, and then I will be sure to enjoy it.

Really disappointed. I decided to do a walking trip to the Amalfi. The group of people were fantastic, they all made the holiday bearable. Many of the people were returning customers. However they ALL said they wouldn't use just you again. It isn't a cheap holiday. The hotel was awful, really noisy. The food was disgusting, I mean really bad. So much so most of us ate out every night. The pool had green algae on it. My room actually vibrated from the noise of what I assumed was the pool filtration downstairs. Being a walker I understand that walks are graded by numbers. All week the walk on the Friday. The path of the Gods was spoken about by our two guides. How you would have to be airlifted off if you couldn't complete the walk, the sheer drop,the narrow paths. Elif our guide told us that the week before only four people went. Now we don't know about the walk as we had not done it before. It was only the talk from the guides that unsettled a few of us. Why have previous people pulled out? As a person who is frightened of heights l was becoming concerned. I was told by Elif that there were sheer drops, very narrow paths and very rough paths. I decided to ask the other so called experienced walking guide to give me more information, after all I needed to ensure my safety and that of other walkers. I would certainly have a panic attack if there were sheer drops. I couldn't face being airlifted off. I asked the guide to rate the walk. Any experienced walker knows it's rated one to ten. On asking her she told me,in front of the other walkers that I was asking a stupid question. I immediately shut down and decided not to walk the path of the Gods. It seems that there were no sheer drops, the path wasn't really narrow and handrails had been put up anyway. Something Elif would have known as she walked it weekly. Why wasn't that explained? I feel cheated and lied to. Being called stupid really upset me. I am dyslexic and was called stupid as a child by teachers as they didn't understand. The same guide asked a few of us front walkers on a previous walk to walk ahead then told us off for walking too far! The guide obviously became aware she was upsetting people with her attitude,she'sshe decided not Then she approached a couple of friends admiring the view and asked them why they were talking about her. How unprofessional. I'm not a guide walker but understand walking etiquette, there was none by the guides. The group became responsible for the walkers that were struggling, the so called walking guides were oblivious that someone had fallen, some were struggling. Elif made comments about the hotel food, she ate different food from us. Only you MUST be aware the food was disgusting. Table water wasn't offered in jugs. You have to pay for water with your meal. When a dry bit of pudding was served we asked if we could have a bit of cream or a drizzle of juice. Answer. NO. You can have Ice cream but you must pay. For £1800.00 I was left very feeling ripped off. Extra expense eating out every night. Being given wrong information about a walk, not able to use the pool. I KNOW a lot of complaints were sent in regards the holiday and so far not one of us has had a response. Sadly I have deleted the photo of the pool but trust me I wouldn't let my dog swim in it. We had an experienced wild water swimmer in our group, she raised concerns daily about the water quality but was ignored. She too has complained. Sadly money taken and then you were ignored. So many of us had terrible rooms. Flooding, noise, broken doors. Obviously the group exchanged comments and none, I mean none were good

I went on the Wild (in reality very tame) Borneo trip with add-on to Kuala Lumpur (expensive for an average hotel). It was very disappointing and the experience did not match the promotional material. I provided on-line feedback and contacted customer service but they were not interested. I would not recommend this tour group.

Great holiday but then no response to email concerning an important point concerning incorrect information in documentation. Turkish Airlines do have online check in..saves being put on standby. Documentation says you can't check in online..you can. Just wanted to save other travellers having the same problem about being put on stand by. Just You don't seem to care.

Just returned from New Zealand travelling for the first time with Just You. They advertise groups usually no more than 25 travellers. There was 37 in this group. Everyone expressed there concerns at size of group. Guide contacted JY and relayed their response.." It is what it is". How caring. The group size impacted on coffee/comfort breaks and booking into hotels ( chaos). The guide struggled to interact with all of the group though he clearly had his favourites. At the Auckland airport on the very first day of arrival the guide laft a solo female traveller behind at the airport. As she said later there was no indication where the group were meeting at the airport. Fortunately a very able lady and in a very English country. I was hoping to do future trips with JY but don't have confidence in them. Sorry I cannot recommend this tour company.

My Go-to tour company!

I’ve travelled many times with Just You and have always experienced 5-star service from them; so much so that they are always my go-to travel company. Realising a life-time’s dream of visiting Petra and touring Jordan with JY was amazing. Every day was a highlight and the tour manager, Jenny, was lovely and so professional. I can even see me doing this tour again next year.

Travelled with Just You to South America - Chile Argentina and Brazil in Nov 2023. Tour guide was totally inexperienced for this long haul tour and was completely out of her depth. This caused massive problems with the holiday when we were unable to travel to Mendoza due to snow blocking the road across the Andes. The company head office did not address the group's concerns and did not offer us alternative air travel. Lots of other issues with this holiday and tour manager. Despite having made a formal complaint my concerns have not been addressed. I can't see me travelling with this company again.

What should have been the holiday of a lifetime to the National Parks of America was a big disappointment due mainly to our tour guide. When I traveled with Just You pre-Covid on their long haul holidays, there was always a Just You representative meeting everyone at the airport and travelling with the group, plus local guides at your destination. This time it was just Veronica on arrival, who wasn't even there when the first of the group arrived, and she gave us very little information about the areas we were travelling through.

I have taken seven Just You holidays - collectively a first rate experience. Excellent tour guides, wonderful locations with good accommodation and food - and perhaps most important of all great company. For anyone considering a Just You holiday, go for it!

Unforgettable holiday

Of all the holidays I have had my trip to the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii with Just You was the most memorable experience Everything was well organised and I felt comfortable and relaxed, our tour manager was great and I never felt as if I was on my own.

Incredible Experience!

I had never been on a guided touring holiday before my trip to Prague, Vienna and Budapest with Just you. It was an incredible experience being able to travel on my own but with like-minded travellers. Our tour manager was exceptional, always available, showing us the sights along the way and keeping the group entertained. I loved that I had the option to go on excursions with the group or on my own too. Everything was taken care of! Would definitely do it again!

Holiday to Santorini, Paros and Mykonos 6-13 May 2023 Awful holiday, hotels not up to standard. Very poor quality. Alkistis Hotel in Mykonos - built into a very steep hillside. Not good if you have a walking impairment or any kind of breathing difficulties. This is NOT mentioned in the Just You brochure. Very rude staff. If you have booked for September, please, please rethink. Not worth the money, worst holiday of my life EVER!

The best company for adventurous singles holidays

My last JY holiday was to Jordan, another fabulous trip ticked off my list. However, I enjoyed it so much I may even go again some time! Every day was a new adventure with some amazing sights and experiences. I’ve done several other holidays with JY and without exception they have all been excellent, Alaska was another stand-out trip. With airport transfers now included it makes them great value for money. The tour managers are the best in the business, friendly, efficient, caring, patient and all have a great sense of humour. If you are in any doubt whether this is for you then I would say, ‘just do it, you will never look back’

Hotel in Mykonos like a dungeon, also steep winding paths to get to rooms, staff also abrupt and intolerant. Holiday Director Daniella was brilliant and made it all bearable. Attitude of Just You to complaints uncaring and cold. Will not use this company again.
