I had booked our Uyuni Salt Flats & Desert Adventure 3D/2N (Uyuni to Atacama) tour via an Australian travel agency, but they had made an error and refused to assist us or take responsibility. This was very difficult for us because we wanted to have a stress-free honeymoon. I contacted Bamba and I asked if we could talk on the phone so they made the improvements to our tour reservation that our travel agent declined to make. The quality of service was exceptional and they generously offered to us a complimentary gift because it was our honeymoon. I can't say enough good things about Bamba.

Torres del Paine O Trek 8D/7N (Self-Guided)

booked a 8-day seven night O trek in Patagonia through this company. They confirmed multiple times that I would be sleeping indoors in refugios. I paid $4,000 US dollars for seven nights of accommodation only to be put in tents every single night except for the last which I had to beg the team to book me into. Needless to say I got sick on the trip and it was not what I expected . Bamba is great at replying to emails but not providing the service that you pay for . Please take your business elsewhere and go with a more reputable company that will give you the service that you are paying for. After all this they refunded me a measly $150 on a $4,000 tour and apologized. What would have been more appropriate is telling me that there is no indoor accommodation so I could pack accordingly for seven nights in a tent. Horrible service, you confirm with a multiple times about accommodation they agree and then provide completely different accommodation. No trust.

I only have good words about our trip to Kenya. The entire experience was totally magical and I struggle to say how fantastic it was. We were fortunate enough to have a brilliant vehicle for ourselves, but we had great luck with David for our guide too. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and nice. We organized a trip through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia on the hop-on, hop-off bus. It made the trip so much simpler for us as first-time travelers because we just had to send an email to arrange the bus, which avoided the hassle of looking for the best price and so on! Our Bolivia tour went off without a hitch. The customer service team at Bamba was always attentive to our needs, which helped to calm our nerves of travelling to a new country. Malta Experience 7D/6N

DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR - SORT OF A SCAM AND NOT WORTH THE MONEY This agency just books day tours through Viator, which you can do yourself, and doubles the cost. Puts you in a hostel and then selects a pick up on the other side of the island, when there is a closer one to your hostel They have no clue...you can look on Google maps and figure out which is a better meeting point. Communication is with someone different at every contact so no real continuity. I tried calling the agency directly several times and they NEVER pick up the phone, at either number (tours or sales). I gave them my departure date, which was a day earlier, and they did not book the return to the airport for the correct date. I missed the first day's tour and supposedly that company tried calling "me" but they were calling the agency as that was the number they had on file. Obviously that did no good because they were not calling me, the agency was in a different time zone and didn't get the message until about a day later. I calculated what all this was worth if I had done it myself (SOOOO wished I had) and it was about $500, so they charged me another $500 for horrible service. Learned my lesson and warning whoever reads this to steer clear! Run while you can!!!

For my trip to Dubai and Asia (Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam), I booked everything with Bamba. Over the course of 7 weeks, the organization was excellent, and they went out of their way to make the trip as stress-free as possible. I was concerned about the time difference because I booked this from the UK to use in Asia, but I had no need to be concerned. They responded almost immediately and organized everything quickly and efficiently. Both of the tours and transportation were of excellent quality, and the customer service was excellent all over. It's difficult to traverse Asia without help because there are so many scam tours and shady bus companies! It's much easier to delegate the difficult tasks to experts.

It was a dream come true for me to be able to celebrate the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro. Every detail was meticulously organized and arranged by Bamba Experience. The community was mostly on schedule. The guides took us on a wonderful tour of Rio de Janeiro. The sunset ride on the boat was awesome. Thank you to all of the guides and staff.

An incredible amazon jungle lodge and great staff who took us to our rooms as soon as we stepped off the boat and explained everything we wanted to know about our stay. In October, we had a fantastic experience on the four-day Inca Trail. The carriers are superhuman, the cook is unbelievable. Three course lunches and four course dinners, we're never hungry. I was terrified at the thought of traveling alone but bamba made my travels easy and stress-free, allowing me to be more flexible with the number of days I stayed in a location because they were just an email away to book my bus and/or excursion. We really liked the idea of self-guided tours, where you don't have to ride in a group for the whole trip but only meet up with other travelers for unique activities along the way. It's such a relief to have a skilled tour operator like Bamba handle all of our bookings and provide us with a live App solution with daily events, transfers, hotel reservations, and tickets such as air fares. So, even though you are not physically present with the Bamba people, you have the feeling that they are with you every step of the way! I went on two tours with Bamba. A seven-day trip to Nepal followed by a four-day trip to Bhutan. Both were fantastic. My tour guides were knowledgeable, versatile, and approachable. Both trips were fantastic value for money.

The pass takes you on a tour of each country's key tourist routes, stopping at all of the major attractions. From there, you can travel to various locations and simply return when you want to resume your journey. I also chose the flexi version, which allowed me to change my travel times and dates as much as I liked, subject to availability, which was ideal for a backpacker. The whole team is incredible and extremely supportive, making planning a trip a breeze. They also provide you with an app that details your itinerary and locations in a clear way.

My husband and I made a trip to Central America and Bamba organized all tours and transport for us. Bamba's team has been very helpful and patient since the beginning, working with us to customize the best journey for our tastes and interests. I first used Bamba Experience in 2018 to book my South American hop on hop off bus passes, and I wanted to use them again this year through Asia because they were really nice and professional. We booked our trip to travel with Bamba through Brazil, Uruguay and part of Argentina. They were always very helpful via email and did their best to accommodate our wishes. When something did go wrong, they went out of their way to sort alternatives for us. We had a flexi ticket but also booked excursions with them. We were really happy with the service and support.

I enjoyed my tour which went well. Barefoot Manta and Barefoot Kuata were amazing. The logistics went well. There were negative issues however which I've messaged you separately about ie I only got to go to 4 not 5 islands, BCI was cancelled. Also I only got 2 lunches included not the 9 or 10 meals you mention.

We booked our trek with bamba. All pre-departure arrangements were well and timely. Our Guide was really good and knowledgeable and made sure we all had a great time. The porter and cook team were incredible. The trip was fantastic overall. Only breakfast stops on the first day were to be chosen - expensive and little left. It was great otherwise.

Our safari with bamba was awesome. We saw a lot more animals than we expected. The jeep was a bit old, but besides that, everything was amazing and the guide was a great driver as well.

Overall, our experience with Bamba was fantastic. It made the first month of our nine-month journey a lot easier. They usually responded to emails the same day and booked us on our buses and tours within a few days; we never had a problem finding a seat on any of the buses! Although it is possible to save money on buses and activities while traveling in Central America, it was convenient to have Bamba already booked for our first trip and not knowing what to expect.

Before and during our trips to Peru and Bolivia, Bamba Experience offered excellent support. We always received a response within hours, regardless of the time or day. They were very helpful in assisting us with trips and bus routes so that we could complete our vacation on time.

I recently completed a bus pass from Hanoi to Bangkok (Rice Field Ways) and had an amazing time! The Bamba team was always there for me. I would email them whenever I needed anything, and they would respond almost immediately! The customer service is excellent. To make reservations, I would simply send them an email, and my bus or day tour reservation would be completed within a few hours. It really made traveling so much easier!

Absolutely fantastic experience that I would recommend to anyone with a sense of adventure. the team couldn't do more for you to be helpful even picking you up from your hotel and our young guide made it a memorable time driving the buggies. i'm glad he knew the way. i was thinking it would be only a track to go around but you really travel a good distance over sand, grit and roads. if you are precious about getting grubby, this trip is not for you. but if you like a bit of speed and fun then you will love it!!!

On our trip around Asia, Bamba was fantastic, always helpful and easy to respond to emails! Bamba has booked all of our accommodations and tours in Argentina. We had a great time in the Iguazu Falls, Salta and Mendoza for about three days in each place. The efficiency of Bamba for day trips and pick-ups was impressive for us. I would recommend Bamba because of their good organization in the trips.

It was a fantastic safari! The guide was very nice and showed us incredible places and we saw lots of animals. We also enjoyed seeing and meeting all local people at the Masai Village. If you want a mix of wildlife and local people, you have to do this tour with Bamba!

I'd been wanting to a long time, and this tour allowed me to do so! We had a variety of encounters ranging from sightseeing in Mexico City to assisting in the construction of alters in the countryside to the actual festivities on the day. We also got to go to the Island of the Dolls, where we had a fantastic time floating through the canals and enjoying typical local cuisine. Milton, our tour guide, was fantastic and extremely informative, explaining everything about the festivities and answering any questions we had. If anyone is interested in learning more about this custom, I believe this is the tour for them!

First and foremost, it appears that the experiences alone cover the cost of the pass, particularly when you know the company is legitimate and you will have a good time. When you are living 12 hours ahead of yourself, the pass eliminates the hassle of trying to locate a travel agent with a decent price and service for your trip, as well as a free seat.

We enjoyed a complete IndoChina Hop On Hop Off pass. I'm not sure how much we paid for it, but it was well worth it after we completed our final journey! The pass included a 44-day itinerary that took passengers through Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia before returning to Bangkok. It's simple to set up, and all you have to do is send an email two days ahead of time to confirm a bus trip or operation. To satisfy the customer's needs, Bamba responds quickly and with outstanding customer service. My wife and I would strongly suggest this pass.

The hike is tough, average to good fitness is necessary, but it certainly worth the amazing views and sense of performance. Hospitality has also been good. The only small thing... it's a little expensive, but surely you don't have to worry about anything. Advisory – You will have to recover from the trek a few days later. Would recommend and use Bamba again. We were the only 2 people in the tour, so it was a very good experience.

Is there an age limit?

No! Most of our bamba travellers fall between the ages of 18 - 35, but everyone is young at heart and welcome to come experience the world with us! If you are between the ages of 18 and 118, we invite you to travel with bamba and have the time of your life! Minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Who will be my travelling companions on the tour?

Most of our trips cater to the adventurous independent traveller. In fact, many of our travellers arrive on their own and quickly find that they easily meet like-minded people along the way at their hostels, on transportation, or during activities.

Do I need travel insurance?

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip, especially when travelling in developing countries. Bamba does not include travel insurance of any type.Your current medical insurance may cover part of your trip, so it is important for you to become familiar with your current coverage. We recommend purchasing additional travel insurance that provides coverage for medical emergencies, emergency evacuation and repatriation, lost or stolen items and unforeseen cancellations. If you plan to participate in activities such as white-water rafting, trekking, sand-buggy rides, etc please make sure they are included in your policy.
